It is now possible to have your urea or SustaiN applications fluidised with a mix of whatever other nutrients your farm needs.  This is particularly useful for dairy farmers, who have typically been applying potash super phosphate in spring and autumn, and granular urea or SustaiN 4 or 5 times per year.  With Nhance Fluidising Technology you can apply all the nutrients you need every time.  

Fluidised SustaiN or urea is applied for maximum efficiency.  By applying the other nutrients you need in fluidised form several times per year you get a more even spread, reduced fixation, reduced run-off. If you are using urea or SustaiN, we can mix phosphate fertilisers such as DAP or RPR and add other nutrients you may consider necessary allowing you to achieve an average 31kg DM/kg N applied from the SustaiN component of the mix compared to 11kg DM/kg N from standard urea (average response rates from Quinspread trials).

All farms and paddocks are different, but an example might be;

In each of our 4 applications we would typically need to apply 25 kg N/ha (54 kg SustaiN/ha), 15 kg P/ha (typically as a blend of 40 kg/ha DAP and 60kg RPR/ha), 19 kg K/ha (38 kg MOP/ha), and 10 kg S/ha (as elemental S). This gives a total application rate each time is 202 kg/ha, at a product cost of approximately $720/tonne + GST.

There are many options available and this is just one that could meet the soil nutrient requirements.  Our spreading cost is fixed so regardless of the spreading rate, if you are applying SustaiN or urea regularly, why not consider including other nutrients too and cut two dressings from the budget, cutting N use in half whilst achieving far greater efficiency than from the granular urea and increasing profit per hectare?
