However, Quinspread’s unique Fluidator system allows us to introduce "Nhance Plus" a urea/NBPT urease inhibitor/gibberellic acid blend that overcomes this obstacle by mixing the products at point of application. Perfect for providing the plant with nitrogen absorbed at the same time as the gibberellic acid and saving on double application of urea and gibberellic acid.
The unique ‘Fluidator’ technology provides a dual breakthrough—both in nutrient efficiency and in environmental protection. Our innovative Fluidator technology converts conventional granular urea and blends, on–truck, into a thick fluid of fine particles called ‘Nhance’ containing a powerful urease inhibitor.
This conversion of each urea granule into dozens of tiny particles, each in intimate contact with the urease inhibitor, greatly reduces both ammonia volatilization losses to the atmosphere, and leaching of nitrate from the soil. Part of the reason for this is the much greater uptake of N by the plant, with as much as 50% of total uptake being absorbed directly through the leaves as urea, saving energy for growth.
The coarser particles in the carefully-designed particle size range in Fluidised Nhance pass through the leaves to the soil, and provide a sustained supply of N for root uptake in the ammonium and nitrate forms.As a result, the percentage of applied N taken up by the plant can be more than doubled.
Farmers therefore have the choice of using far less N to achieve a given feed target, or maximising the response to a given amount of N. Either way, farm profitability is improved and the environment is protected.
The agronomic efficiency of other nutrients in the blend is also optimised. The solubilised component of each nutrient is available for leaf uptake, avoiding any short-term nutrient deficiencies, while the particulate component passes thought the leaf canopy to the soil, ensuring soil reserves are maintained and enhancing root growth.
The Fluidator technology also provides dynamic spreading solutions for organic farmers with the ability to simultaneously spread a range of solid and liquid fertilisers including fish & seaweed liquids.
