QTL Nhance have introduced a further spreading unit to the South Island which commenced operation December 2011.  We hope to have four units operating in this market by Autumn 2012.

Fertiliser Spreader
In November 2010 QTL Nhance commenced spreading operations in South Canterbury with Steve Gray,  as Nhance South Canterbury, based from Washdyke.  Steve is an experienced operator of many types of machinery specializing in trucking in South Canterbury. He has successfully run his own agricultural, earthmoving and trucking businesses, has had considerable experience in logistics and has recently been a part of the senior management team at Fulton Hogan in Timaru.  QTL Nhance is looking forward to introducing the technology to Southland and North Canterbury in the future.  For enquiries please phone 0800 404 004.

Dr. Bert Quin has resigned as consultant to QTL Nhance to focus on GroupOne, his new fluid fertiliser and technology advocacy organisation.  The new website is www.groupone.co.nz and QTL Nhance are members of Group One.

Nhance Plus is here - Urea + NBPT urease inhibitor + gibberellic acid spread simultaneously! Traditionally, mixing high pH urea and low pH gibberellic acid would result in premature breakdown of the giberrellic acid and a resultant poor response.

However, Quinspread’s unique Fluidator system allows us to introduce "Nhance Plus" a urea/NBPT urease inhibitor/gibberellic acid blend that overcomes this obstacle by mixing the products at point of application.  Perfect for providing the plant with nitrogen absorbed at the same time as the gibberellic acid and saving on double application of urea and gibberellic acid.  AND - we can spread it at the same time as DAP, elemental sulphur, urea or a range of other fertilisers.

Quinspread announces the appointment of Gordon Findlay as it's General Manager, effective from December 2009.  Gordon has tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Rural Valuation, Finance and Urban Valuation. Prior to joining the Quinspread team Gordon was involved with selling, leasing and property management of commercial property in Hamilton for four years and before this was involved in the dairy industry as a managing equity partner in a 1000 cow dairy operation in Taranaki.

Quinspread can now offer organic farmers, both certified and uncertified, the opportunity to cut the hassle out of spreading liquid and solid fertilisers' seperately.  We can spread solid fertilisers' (such as bio active RPR and any range of trace elements and minerals) at the same time as liquid additves (humates, soil conditioners, molasses, and fish/seaweed products) thereby saving the double cost of spray application and solid fertiliser spreading.  Please see our Organics page to view the truck spreading organic products and see the products we have spread in the past.

In November 2008 Quinspread employed Business Development Manager, Gordon Findlay, who is charged with taking Quinspread's Fluidator technology to market in the greater Waikato region.

Quinspread Technologies Limited is a joint venture between Dr Quin, Grant McComb and the central North Island (New Zealand) fertiliser groundspreading company N.T. Wealleans Ltd. Quinspread commenced commercial operation in August 2007.
